The last day (of class)

Yup, it is that time of the semster.... the last day of classes. One exam to give and then a nice dive into a torrent of grading.... the nice thing about the end of the semester is that despite the crunch of work to finish for my classes is that I am more energized to plow into research. Teaching has definite rewards, though it also reduces time to spend on research, the next month will have those two flipped around. Change is a good thing.

A first blog

So, this is a first blog. My friend Cari has one started for her excellent adventure to Antarctica this year to collect meteorites. Anyway, if I wanted to comment back, I had to create a login, and hence now I have this blog, which will likely be under-utilized like so many things on the web. Anyway, I teach at a medium-size university in Cleveland. Peace.
