hints of a spring in her step...

So Sara is almost 10 months old and we are entering her first springtime. Today is pretty nice, and yesterday was warm but foggy and rainy. An of course, things are changing with Sara a bit too. She seems to be growing a bit, her first tooth is starting to really show (those first teeth are sharp, and of course all the crawling and pulling up, etc. Her nap schedule is all over the place lately, but that isn't much of a surprise given all the changes, including moving to a new bigger kid room at day care. She started that last Monday and did pretty well. Sara still looks around for her previous care-givers... in fact I guess she made a break for it and went looking for Sr. Ann herself one day. But, now she gets to play a lot more, and she even goes to the gym now... so I suspect the WNBA scouts will be coming around any time now...

Otherwise, she is doing basically fine... the tantrum phase has started a bit, though. The are particularly more prevalent when it is time to change a diaper... A little ironic that up until about 4-5 months ago she tended to be unhappy if we didn't change her diaper fast enough.. ah well.

A short video of Sara pulling up, chattering, etc is below...

With the nicer weather (some days that is) we have been able to get out and take some walks with Sara. She took a few with her Grandmothers while they were here for their visits... and I have been able to get out with her since I got back... the first pic is just from a walk around the block after work/school this week. I know that some people are complaining about this shift in Daylight Savings Time, but for me, with it being light after work, it is so nice to be able to take advantage of it with Sara.

Anyway, today we pulled out a frame carrier that Jim and Beverly loaned us to see how Sara would like it. We got it all adjusted at home... and as you can see she certainly liked the view. Then we decided to go take a walk around the Shaker Lakes... it was a great day for it and just the right length for all of us for a first outing of the spring.

As you can see, Sara had a great time, and the fresh air did its usual trick on her too.
